Pinellas County Sheriff's PAL Summer Programs are all Open

The Pinellas Sheriff's Police Athletic League summer programs are in full swing and openings are still available but limited, so sign up today! The summer programs have already begun and run until Friday, August 20, 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. (aftercare until 5:30 available for an additional charge.)

The mission of the Pinellas Sheriff's Police Athletic League (PAL) is to offer the youth of Pinellas County alternatives to violence, gang involvement, and substance abuse. Education, recreation, community service, and sports programs serve as the foundation for the development of leadership skills, good citizenship, and good sportsmanship. They also introduce opportunity, motivation, and direction for the children.

The Pinellas Sheriff's PAL serves all children, even though the main target is the at-risk youth from a low-income to poverty level family. They offer recreation, sports, and education through law enforcement. The goal is to keep reaching out to as many children as possible, so they may have the opportunity to have fun, grow, and learn from PAL programs.
