Flute Extravaganza Honors Native American Culture
Photo courtesy of Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center The Heart's Breath 2010 Flute Extravaganza will celebrate Native American culture at Weedon Island Preserve Cultural and Natural History Center on Saturday, August 7, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The daylong event features the art and music of the Native American culture and is a captivating experience for the family. Talented flutists will demonstrate and teach visitors the basics of indigenous flute playing. Native American-themed items and handmade flutes will be available for purchase.
