Democratic Women's Club to Discuss Deep Water Oil DrillingOn Monday, August 23, the Democratic Women's Club of Upper Pinellas will host a panel in which the Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico will be discussed. Panelists will include Senator Bill Nelson's Regional Director, Sharah Anderson, and environmental activist, Cathy Harrleson, who will share information and take questions and suggestions about this disaster and future deep water drilling. This very interesting and informative meeting will take place at Stacey's Buffet (1451 Missouri Ave N, Largo.) Social time/lunch will start at 11:30 a.m., and will be followed by speakers and a short business meeting at 12:15 p.m. Discussion will be encouraged and everyone is welcome.
