Clearwater Marine Aquarium Continues Free Speaker Series

Don't Miss "Coastal Toxins: Natural and Man-made," a presentation by Dr. Leanne Flewelling from Fish and Wildlife Research Institute, Terrie Weeks from Sierra Club, and Joe Malo from Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Clearwater Marine Aquarium will continue its free speaker series Thursday, August 19, with "Coastal Toxins: Natural and Man-made," a presentation discussing toxins that affect Gulf waters. Learn how red tide, algae blooms, fertilizers and household toxins affect our waters and those living in it, and how you can help lessen their impact.

"Coastal Toxins: Natural and Man-made" will include the following:

6:00 p.m.: Welcome and snacks provided by Kilwin's Ice Cream
6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.: Presentations by CMA's Director of Education, Joe Malo, Dr. Leanne Flewelling from Fish and Wildlife Research Institute, and Terrie Weeks from Sierra Club.
7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.: Question and Answer Session
