Concession Services Planned for Howard Park and Lake Seminole ParkPinellas County plans to offer concessions this fall at Fred Howard Park and Lake Seminole Park to provide more enjoyment for park visitors. Potential services include snacks and beverages, as well as canoe and bike rentals. Howard Park (1700 Sunset Drive, Tarpon Springs), with its mile of white sandy beach, already features beach showers and nine shelters. Lake Seminole Park (10015 Park Boulevard, Seminole) has 13 picnic shelters, a two-mile trail and is popular with water-skiers. Both parks have restrooms and a ball field. Interested vendors can respond to Pinellas County's Request for Proposal by contacting Lucy Nowacki, at (727) 464-3766. The deadline for vendors to submit proposals for concession services is 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2.
