15 Neglected Small Dogs Surrendered to SPCA Tampa Bay
On Thursday, August 12,a former St. Petersburg breeder surrendered 15 small dogs to SPCA Tampa Bay Investigators. The purebred Chinese Crested Dogs, Pomeranians, and Yorkshire Terriers, with an age range of 9 months to 4 years, were immediately transferred to the Largo Shelter to receive medical care. Most of the dogs were covered with ticks, had matted coats, and overgrown toenails. Once the medical department determines the dogs are physically and mentally sound, they can be placed up for adoption.
