Cooters Joins Share Our Strength's Great American Dine OutCLEARWATER BEACH - Cooters Restaurant & Bar is pleased to announce their participation in Share Our Strength's Great American Dine Out, a week-long national restaurant event in cities across the United States. From September 19th-25th, thousands of restaurants, including Cooters will join together to raise funds to help end childhood hunger in America by 2015. Guests are invited to visit Cooters during the month of September and by making a minimum donation, they'll receive valuable Cooters coupons. Last year, Cooters, along with nearly 4,000 restaurants of every size and type, helped the Great American Dine out raise nearly $80,000. "We're proud of our continued participation in the Great American Dine Out and we're thankful for our guests who've helped us rally around this cause each year. Joining out efforts with the entire restaurant industry encourages us that we can make progress towards the tough but achievable goal of ending childhood hunger in America," according to Carol Mears, Cooters Restaurant & Bar. Funds raised this year through the Great American Dine Out will support Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign to end child hunger in the US by 2015. Through this campaign, Share Our Strength is working with state, community, and private sector leaders across the country to connect families facing hunger with the programs that can help them.
