City of Clearwater Hosts Paddle in the ParkPaddle in the Park is a free kayak race on Crest Lake. This event will be held on Saturday, September 25, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Crest Lake Park (1234 Gulf to Bay Blvd., Clearwater.) This event is open to all of the City of Clearwater neighborhoods. There will be fun, food, music, and more! The race will feature: men's, women's, and open teams; instruction for beginners and children; and t-shirts and trophies for the winners. Kayaks, paddles, and life vests for the race will be provided for you. Races will include two-person teams across the lake and back. The teams to beat this year are the Police, Firemen, and City Council. Registration is available at Osprey Bay Kayaks (160 N. Belcher Rd., Clearwater) or by calling (727) 524-9670.
