Clearwater Public Library System is Celebrating Teen Read Week with Short Story ContestCLEARWATER - Teens can celebrate Teen Read Week by entering a Short Story Contest held at all Clearwater Public Library System branches. All entries have to be submitted by October 31st. Teen Read Week is October 17th - 23rd. Stories must be 1000 words or less and typed. Topics should be personal stories or original fiction. Entries will be judged in one of two categories: 6 - 8 grades and 9 - 12 grades. Prizes will be awarded to the winners in each grade category. First place will receive a $75 gift card and runner up will receive a $50 gift card. Winners will be announced on November 30th.
