Abilities Guild Celebrates OktoberfestCelebrate Oktoberfest with the Abilities Guild at Carlouel Yacht Club on Friday, October 29, at 6:00 p.m. All proceeds of which will benefit The Abilities of Florida's Veterans Employment and Outreach Programs here in Pinellas County. There will be complimentary draft beer until the keg is dry! Bring your own favorite stein and perhaps you will win a prize for most unique stein! There will also be a sit down authentic German dinner-soup, salad, and a host of German entrees, plus a buffet of Germans desserts. Music will be presented throughout the evening for your listening and dancing pleasure. This year the Guild has fundraising for the Abilities of Florida's Veterans Employment and Outreach Programs as its top priority. These programs help disabled veterans in the Tampa Bay area through workshops, job fairs, and individual counseling. Programs are located at both Bay Front in St. Petersburg and Hailey Center in Tampa. Join the Abilities Guild for an enjoyable evening of food, fun, and friendship while supporting our veterans. The cost is $75.00 per person and there will be a cash bar after the draft beer keg runs dry. There will also be valet parking available.
