Early voting to start in Pinellas Saturday

Supervisor of Elections Deborah Clark announces that early voting begins Saturday March 1 for the March 11 special general election and municipal elections.
 
In addition to the race for the Congressional District 13 seat, these 12 municipalities are conducting elections: Belleair Bluffs, Clearwater, Gulfport, Indian Shores, Kenneth City, Madeira Beach, Pinellas Park, Redington Shores, Safety Harbor, South Pasadena, St. Pete Beach and Tarpon Springs.
 
 Early voting will continue through March 9 at all county elections offices. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends.
 
 Early voting locations are:
 
• Election Service Center, 13001 Starkey Road, Largo (Starkey Lakes Corporate Center);
 
• Pinellas County Courthouse, 315 Court St., Room 117, Clearwater (first floor, north side);
 
• County Building, 501 First Ave. N., St. Petersburg (entrance on Fifth Street).
 
Voters can check early voting wait times online at www.votepinellas.com. Color codes represent wait times at each early voting location as follows: Green indicates less than 20 minutes; yellow, 20 to 40 minutes; and red, more than 40 minutes.
 
Voters also may cast ballots by mail or at their polling places on Election Day. For more information or to request a mail ballot, visit the website or call (727) 464-8683.
