GBYWS marks milestone with a celebration

CLEARWATER BEACH — The 35th anniversary of the Greater Belleair Young Women's Society was celebrated at the Carlouel Yacht & Beach Club on Feb. 6.

The evening events started with a social hour followed by a scrumptious dinner and an appreciation program for these lovely ladies.

Seventeen past presidents were honored with a rose presentation. They have helped the group sponsor various local Pinellas county charities throughout the years. They were applauded for their timeless efforts, hard work and determination to ensure each charity received a generous donation.

"The Haven of RCS" is the club’s sponsored charity for 2014. Club members collected donations for the shelter.
