Kiwanis fishing day promotes family fun

LARGO - Chase McCawley, 10, shows the ninth and final fish he caught while participating in the Kiwanis Club of Seminole Breakfast Family Fun Fishing Day at Taylor Park in Largo  on October 5.  Chase won the prize for most fish caught.  The club holds free fishing events for children up to age 14 four times a year (April, June, August and October).  Poles and bait are provided.  Since 2005, over 1,900 children have participated in the Family Fun Fishing Day Program.
