Guitar lessons strike a chord with students

LARGO - Guitar instructor Shawn Bonacci, left, poses for a photo with Hallie Delhagen, one of his prize students, prior to a recent lesson at the Southwest Recreation Complex in Largo.

Students learn all parts of the guitar as well as proper tuning, proper hand and finger techniques, strumming and all seven major chord shapes during a six-week course.  They must have their own guitar, guitar tuner and guitar picks. Registration is now under way for the next session, which begins October 19.

Interested persons may call 518-3125 for details.
