LARGO - The Largo Woman's Club takes on a number of altruistic projects in the community each year.  Just recently members collected a variety of school supplies and other items for youngsters attending Mildred Helms Elementary School in Largo.  Norma Steiner, center, pictured above with school principal Sandy Cowley, left, and family and community liaison Cathy Finke, delivered notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, crayons, note paper, rulers, Kleenex, socks and more to the school on a recent Friday morning.  All will go to needy children in the lower grades.  Persons in the community who would like to donate needed items to the school can call Finke at 588-3569 for more information.
