LARGO -

Senior softball athlete Ethel Lehmann will be competing at this year's National Senior Games in Cleveland, Ohio, starting this weekend. The 83-years-old short stop proves that there's no such thing as “too old.”

The mother of five and grandmother of nine has been playing softball since high school. She was inducted into the National Senior Softball Hall of Fame in 2008.

Along with more than 10,000 adults all over the age of 50, Lehmann is taking her athletic skills to Cleveland in just a few weeks to compete in the 2013 National Senior Games presented by Humana. Additionally, she will be honored as a “Humana Game Changer” for serving as a role model to seniors – and people of all ages – for how to live a healthy life.
