Oranges bring in funds for Indian Rocks Beach museum

Published:   |   Updated: December 4, 2013 at 02:46 PM

The vintage photograph which graces one wall at the Indian Rocks Historical Museum shows two orange trees in one of the many groves once found in abundance throughout Indian Rocks Beach.  One of those trees is pictured above.   Today, oranges are helping to sustain the operations of the museum.  Persons donating $50 are honored by an orange with their name on it displayed on one of the donor trees. A $250 donation will be honored with the donor's name on an orange crate placed in front of the trees.  For more information, call 593-3861.
