The annual neighborhood beautification project takes place March 29

SAFETY HARBOR — Local organizers of Paint Your Heart Out in Safety Harbor, celebrating 24 years of painting homes in the community, are seeking dozens of volunteers to help paint, repair and restore homes in the community.

Since its inception, more than 120 homes have been painted. Individuals work alongside volunteer professional painters to make this project a success. Thanks to so many volunteers, the organization also offers front yard landscaping.

Volunteers are asked to meet at 7:30 a.m. March 29 at the First Baptist Church, 525 14th Ave. Organizers will provide breakfast and lunch for the half day event and volunteers will receive a T-shirt for participating.

If you wish to make an in-kind donation of supplies or contribute monetarily, call Lynne Burghardt at (727) 725-7655.

To join the volunteer paint team, contact Donna Mack at (727) 724-1545 ext. 1155 or send an email to dmack@cityofsafetyharbor.com or PYHO@gmail.com.
