Parking lot at former Adam’s Mark site to close Monday

CLEARWATER BEACH – The temporary public parking lot on South Gulfview Blvd., which was once the site of the former Adam’s Mark Hotel, is closing effective Monday.

Ocean Properties Ltd., which owns the lot, is preparing to build a 15-story crescent-shaped hotel on the property. Plans call for a 230-room hotel with a five-story parking garage.

City officials said alternative parking is available within the Hyatt Regency parking garage at 301 South Gulfview Blvd. and within the Surf Style parking garage at 311 South Gulfview Blvd.
