REPAVE UPDATE: Mandalay Avenue on Clearwater Beach

CLEARWATER — While milling and repaving work along Mandalay Avenue is complete, construction workers will restripe the street with a thermoplastic compound on Friday.

Unlike a painted stripe, thermoplastic striping is considered a highly reflective, long-lasting pavement marking material that is resistant to cracking.

The impacted areas are: Mandalay Avenue from the beach roundabout north to Baymont Street and Baymont Street including the parking stalls.

Residents can expect temporary, brief closures. To learn more, call the city's Engineering Department at (727) 562-4750.
