St. Cecelia junior Thespians achieve outstanding results at state festival

CLEARWATER — Fifteen members of the Thespian Troupe 89120 of the St. Cecelia’s Catholic School earned superior or excellent ratings at the Feb. 8 state festival. The superior ranking was the highest award followed by excellent.  Superiors include:  Kaitlin Durkee – solo; Lauren Lyons – monologue; Kat Thompson – monologue; and Noah Worman - monologue. Excellent awards went to: Ashlyn Baralt - solo, small group musical, and large group musical; Kayla Champion - large group musical; Catherine Clark - large group musical; Kaitlin Durkee - large group musical; Abby Erff - small group musical – lead vocals; Jessie Hayes- large group musical; Aurora Lee - small group musical and large group musical; Lauren Lyons - small group musical – lead vocals; Richard McKeon - small group musical; Maddy McPhearson - small group musical and  large group musical; Brennan Moyles - large group musical – lead vocals; Brianna Pearson - small group musical; Andrew Savarese - small group musical; Kat Thompson - small group musical; and Noah Worman - small group musical & large group musical.
