Women marines honored

LARGO — The Gulf Coast Chapter of the Women Marines Association staged a “Meet and Greet” celebration of the Women Marines 71st anniversary on Feb. 15. The observance was held at the Marine Corps League’s Detachment 54 Headquarters in Largo and featured an exchange of stories among Chapter members and local Marines as well as displays of women marine memorabilia.
