Young women receive scholarship awards

Soroptimist International of Pinellas County recently awarded Woman’s Opportunity Awards scholarships to three deserving young women.
 
Temise Solomon (left) and Keely Johnson (center) are studying nursing. Thais Leon-Miller (second from right) is majoring in journalism. With the honorees are Soroptimist Vice President, Terry Sue Turner (2nd from left); Marsha McGrath (center), President,  and Betsi Lewis, District Director (right). The annual awards, based on merit and demonstrated self effort, totaled $3,500.
