Welcome to the Clearwater Gazette & Beach Views (the Gazette) newspaper web site. As Clearwater's hometown newspaper, we have under our newspaper umbrella served the local community on a weekly basis since 1950.
Growing from a small island newspaper, the Gazette now proudly serves Clearwater, Dunedin, Largo, Belleair, Belleair Beach, Belleair Bluffs, Belleair Shore and Indian Rocks Beach communities. We are an independent local newspaper not owned by any media holding company. Thus, and unlike other local weekly newspapers, we are not beholden to owners from another corporate office or distant newspaper conglomerate.
