Dental practice to offer free services to children

Published:

— The Dunedin Dental Care, located at 1100 Pinehurst, will offer free services, including cleanings, fillings and sealants, to children, ages 4 to 17, on Friday.

Dr. Mark Maltby and his team will participate in the Free Dentistry Day, a day dedicated to providing dental care to the growing number of Americans without dental insurance.

“Our team is committed to lifetime dental care because good oral health is integral to overall health,” said Dr. Maltby. “That is why it’s imperative that we educate the children of our community how to care for their teeth at a young age so they can continue to practice good oral hygiene and maintain healthy smiles for years to come.”

Dental care services will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patients will be accepted on a first come first served basis. For information, call (727) 733-3238 or visit www.FreeDentistryDay.org.
