Safety Harbor offers fish camp to young anglers

— The city’s recreation department will offer an Advanced Charter Fishing Camp for ages 9-12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 31 to Aug. 2 and again Aug. 14–16 departing from the Seminole Street Boat Ramp, 190 Seminole St., Clearwater.

Campers, who must already know fishing basics, will learn about fishing in open water. All gear and supplies are provided. The camp costs $290 for Safety Harbor residents. Nonresidents can purchase a seasonal recreation card for $40 and participate at the resident rate.
