Indian Rocks Beach considers sale of sewer, transmission system

— The city of Indian Rocks Beach will hold a public hearing at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the Civic Auditorium, 1507 Bay Palm Blvd., to discuss the possible sale of the city’s sanitary sewer collection and the wastewater transmission system to Pinellas County.

Pinellas County has offered to purchase the city’s system for $1,993,945. The sale is contingent upon approval by the city commission and the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners.

Indian Rocks Beach residents are encouraged to attend the public hearing to make comments, ask questions and to be informed.
