Sermon topic is ‘A time for believing’

 
CLEARWATER BEACH — The Rev. Herb Freitag’s sermon on Sunday at Chapel-By-The-Sea Community Church is titled, “A Time for Believing.”
 
The worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. Adult Sunday School starts at 9:15 a.m. Coffee Conversations are at 9:30.
 
A nursery is provided for children through age 3 from 9:15 to 11:40 a.m. The coach pick-up schedule and route are available by calling the office at (727) 446-0430.
 
Thursday Bible study starts at 10:30 a.m.

Christmas Eve candlelight worship service at Chapel-by-the-Sea

 
CLEARWATER BEACHThe public is invited to a candlelight worship service at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Christmas Eve, at Chapel-by-the-Sea.
 
Rev. Herb Freitag will provide the biblical inspiration in a sermon titled, “Christmas at 30,000 Feet.” The chapel’s choir will sing “Messiah Christmas Suite” by G.F. Handel. The service will also feature musicians Eden Vaning-Rosen, Jasmine Lemon, Jake Bray and Elyse Aaronson on strings, Danzel Dixon on percussion, and Barbara Prescott on flute. “O Holy Night” will be sung by Dr. Marilyn Michael and Jared Acuff.

A Christmas Eve celebration in Dunedin

 
DUNEDIN – The Clearwater Community Church invites the public to an outdoor Christmas Eve celebration at the Dunedin Community Center Pavilion starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Christmas Eve.

Candlelight Christmas Eve Service Tuesday, December 24, 2013 2, 7 and 11 p.m. First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks, 12685 Ulmerton Road, Largo, FL Join First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks for an evening of Christmas Classics and inspiring candlelight service. Three services are planned at 4 p.m., 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. The 4 p.m. and 7 p.m services feature a special time for Children to be engaged in the service and includes a free gift that they can take home.

Largo Christian Fellowship Church Sunday Worship 

 
LARGO – The Christian Fellowship Church, located at 900 Starkey Road in Largo, is taking a new direction in worship with a contemporary service that begins each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. 
 
A main feature of the service is music presented by worship leader Terry Rogers. The sermon will be presented by Pastor Steve Gulbronson. This contemporary worship service attracts both youth and adults. For more information, call (727) 581-1742.
 

Voice of Jazz concert to benefit Metropolitan Ministries

 
ST. PETERSBURG – The Daughters of Penelope of St. Petersburg invites the public to a concert featuring the “Voices of Jazz” on Jan. 18 at the Doncedy Hall of St. Stefanos Church, 3600 76th Street N.
 
The 7 p.m. event will include ballroom dancing demonstrations, hors d’oeuvres and Greek desserts.
 
The cost is $25 per person with proceeds going to the Metropolitan Ministries.
