Coffee with a Cop set for Tuesday
 
The City of Indian Rocks Beach will host an informal gathering of Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputies and residents on Tuesday from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at Crabby Bill’s Restaurant, 401 Gulf Boulevard, Indian Rocks Beach.
 
The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Indian Rocks Beach will set aside time to meet with residents to listen to concerns and find out what’s going on in their neighborhoods once a quarter.
 
Indian Rocks Beach residents are urged to come out and meet the PCSO representatives and deputies.

Council race uncontested
 
 
 
A municipal election for the City of Indian Rocks Beach will not be required in March as the following candidates are unopposed:
 
 
• Mayor-Commissioner Elect R. B. Johnson
 
 
• City Commissioner-elect Joanne “Cookie” Kennedy
 
 
• City Commissioner-elect James A. Labadie
 
 
The incumbents will be sworn into office on Mar. 25 at 7 p.m., in the City Commission Chambers, 1507 Bay Palm Boulevard.
